Tanya’s coaching is complemented by her solid business experience. Prior to founding Transverse, Tanya held the role of Director, Business Development at the Stanford Graduate School of Business (Executive Education) where she consulted with senior Fortune 500/Nasdaq 1000 leaders on a broad range of executive education needs for their senior teams and high potential leaders. Additionally, she spearheaded corporate outreach efforts for the flagship Stanford Executive Program across North America and South Asia. Further, at Sun Microsystems Inc. in Silicon Valley, she worked on designing critical aspects of the review process for global executive succession management in addition to conceptualizing key leadership development effectiveness metrics for the CEO and Board of Directors. Her career spans myriad global corporations including The Walt Disney Corporation, InterContinental Hotels Group, Hilton Hotels (The Waldorf Astoria) and Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
She earned her MA in Social & Organizational Psychology with honors from Columbia University, Teachers College and her BS in Hospitality Management from the University of New Hampshire. An ardent advocate of lifelong learning Tanya has participated in leadership education programs at Stanford University and the Corporate Executive Board. In addition to English, she also speaks Hindi and Urdu. Tanya is based in the San Francisco Bay Area where she resides with her family.
